What We Do

Our School Vision is - We build the future together.  We are able to provide an exciting curriculum for the children at Chillerton and Rookley School.  All children are encouraged to work hard to achieve their potential.

Our recent Ofsted Inspection reported that "a delightful, caring and welcoming environment exists, so pupils settle quickly and thrive.  Pupils achieve well because of consistently good teaching"  (Ofsted Website http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/reports)

We welcome parents and visitors to our school.  We have close community links with the church and various societies running in Chillerton, Rookley and Gatcombe.

Our strong Governing Body helps to ensure that the children are happy, motivated, well behaved and taught well.  Each child is encouraged to achieve their best.  They have individual targets which are regularly assessed and revised.

The PTFA (Parent, Teachers and Friends Association) meets regularly and holds fund raising events throughout the year.

Our school runs a Breakfast Club and After School Club daily during term time The children are able to join in many exciting activities with lots more in the pipeline. We have a weekly Celebration Assembly for parents and helpers to see and hear about our school.
